The usual, phone rang, I didn't answer because I didn't recognize the number and let it go to my answering machine.  No message was left, of course.  When I masked my caller ID (*67) and called the number to try to see who it was, I got the telephone company recording saying "this number is no longer in service."  That means these scammers have forged the number and by so doing revealed themselves as crooks.
