I work for an architectural firm. This guy called for one of my PM's. He wouldn't say what company he was calling from so I put him on hold, googled the number and all these negative posts came up. I told the guy there's no way I'm putting the call through, so he hung up. Oh well.
Just adding on to the rest. Received numerous calls from a young lady...not very specific on the school. Very hesitant on giving out information that isn't public.
Received a call from a young lady asking for the VP. As I'm talking to her I'm typing her number into 800notes. I offered to take a message - she refused. Thanks Posters - appreciate it!!!!
This is a scam. Once they have the subcontractor information they call to try and sell fake advertising in a fake trade magazine. DO NOT give them names or contact information.
"Callie" called wanting the Project Manager on one of our projects. She said she's calling for a school project. She would not give the name of her school or a phone number to call her back. I asked a few times the name of her school all she would say is a community college in Austin. Would not leave message with me to relay. She continued to ask for the project managers name. I didn't relay any info and she said she would call back. *I Wouldn't trust the Call*
