10 minutes ago I received the same call from the same phone; only difference was that the caller was a man, but obviously reading from the same script. Sounded disappointed that I wasn't more excited, even though I had assured him I had never entered a drawing with the PCH.
When I asked for more info regarding the prize, he wanted to know if 10:00 am - 12:00 am Thursday morning would be convenient to receive a phone call fro the senior attorney at "Falco . ..(something) who would answer all my questions, but while I pretended to check my calendar, he disappeared and the line eventually cleared. Too bad, because I was going to ask him for a certified letter containing all the details.
None one else has mentioned their age, but my guess is none of us are kids.
@Emsa - they are able to dial from disconnected numbers because they are using SPOOFING software. That way they can't be traced. The #1 hallmark of a scammer. They don't want to be found.
Called me just now May 10, 2017 at 11:20 AM Eastern time. CID said Austin, TX. I never answer out of state numbers - they are always a scam. So while it was ringing on my cell I quickly dialed the number on my work land line. Bingo - a non working number. Cell was still ringing so for giggles I answered. Got a female voice asking for my husband. I asked her why she was calling from a non working number and quickly rattled off the number. She got defensive and said "well m'am that's our office number, check with the land line carrier!" and then hung up. Yeah ok I will be sure to check with the land line carrier. Gold I hate these people!
