I bought a new large dishwasher from Home Depot a couple of weeks ago and have gotten 3 calls from 512-735-5521 or 5515. I finally answered the last call and it was a company telling me I was going to get a $20 gift card from Home Depot and they also wanted to check my water for free. I said "No thanks," since it sounded like a scam. I wish I had known this (and seen this email thread) before I purchased from Home Depot. Something needs to be done about the harassing calls from this company.
Does everybody on this message board live around Austin or San Antonio? I am in San Antonio and the 512-735-5521 number from this harassing company says the number is listed in Austin. I was surprised when the Home Depot delivery people showed up in an unmarked truck, with unmarked drivers. I was pretty sure Home Depot contracts out their delivery work. Now I'm wondering if it is the same delivery company that is selling all of our phone numbers, so is this limited to the Austin/SA area or is it wide-spread across all Home Depots?
Bought an appliance at Home Depot and 40 minutes later started getting calls from 512-735-5521.
I do not answer unknown numbers, they called 6 times between 4:45 pm and 6:37 pm.
Hope they do not call again this evening.
