I live in Austin tx, my wife and I recently purchased a very expensive fridge from home depot back in November. Beginning in early February I started receiving calls at all times of day and night (even after 8 pm) from various numbers beginning with 512 735 (5521, 5515, etc). After seeing this site, I decided to call the home depot I purchased the fridge from to speak with the store manager. He admitted full knowledge of this company and what they do, and promised to take me off their call list. I highly encourage others to take the few minutes it takes to do the same, and afterwards call 1800 home depot to file a complaint with a regional manager. If they get enough calls from us, maybe they will realize this isn't what any of us consider to be a reward for spending our money at home depot. It was completely worth my time to chew on the manager over this, especially since it informed me of home depots clear knowledge of and partnership with this annoying call company. Good luck!
Just purchased a fridge and dishwasher from Home Depot in Boerne and have been getting 2-4 calls a day from this number. Very disappointed in Home Depot!
So, just got off the phone with Home Depot and the manager I spoke to told me that customer phone numbers are given to this company anytime an appliance is purchased that uses water. It is a water softening vendor that they work with. She also said that no-one else has complained about harassing phone calls (love it when someone says this) but she will "check into it." Meanwhile I have blocked the number and am warning family and friends about this!
I have also received COUNTLESS calls from this number and the following NINE numbers: 512 735-5521, 5518, 5508, 5511, 5514, 5520, 5517, 5523, 5515! I called one of the numbers and requested to be taken off their list. Of course, no answer, no call back, nothing! I rarely take the time to post anything like this, honestly, so, this post may tell you a few things. They called at every hour of the day and evening and made calls usually 3 times in a row usually when I was unable to answer. Like others on this page, I recently made a purchase at Home Depot. Again, I'm not a complainer but I'm thinking about calling the Home Depot I went to try and make sure my number is off every list they have. So far, I've blocked all nine ... but I'm sure inevitably, I'll get another one. It's so obnoxious.
