I think this is Primerica (aka PRI). They're a financial services company and this seems to be their recruiting method - a regional VP calls you up, leaves a vague message about how they got your resume and would like to talk. I've probably gotten a dozen of these calls in the last 20 years.
They may be legit but I've heard that the RVPs get compensated for the number of "recruits" they land and that most people end up washing out (you may even have to pay to apply). They've fooled me once or twice into calling them and they're fairly persistent about meeting with you but once I hear "Primerica," I tell them I'm not interested.

This guy left a vague somewhat slurred message. Reading the above messages, I can now understand he was trying to cover up the name "Primerica" Thanks for the warning about this crap.
