Man call asking for Mark. When I told him he had a wrong number, he said "well, maybe you could help". Then cam th spleal about collecting for our disabled firefighters, police and other first responders. When I told him no and that I was fully aware of this scam technich, he laughed at me. He tried to say that "His group" is not a scam and the real thing. My turn to laugh. Beware!!! Thsy are all, ALL scammers.
Asked for Angela (I actually have a daughter by that name) but called my cell phone, asked where calling -- said Charity Appeal, again asked who are you asking for with last name -- he said Senior... really...
Caller ID said "None". Anyone that's legitimate will have their name on the ID. Best to block first and call back or unblock later if necessary. Some of these morons have been trying to pull same phone scam for at least 10 years. We average 3-4 different scammers on a weekly basis.
