A man called said he was from Buck town police departmant in ontario canada and my grandson had been arrested for drugs and needed to talk to me about bail money. How he had imformation on my granson I don't know, But my Grandson was on oragon and OK thank GOD.. So he got 3200.00 dollars for bail from me befor I relized it was a scam. The number still work because I called it but now it goes stright to message. I think the caller could even be here in anchorae alaska because he told me where to go get the money orders and had me send it to Dallas TX to some one named Shauni Cortes. Like a Grandma I did it . But I do want the # out there as a scammer.

Also got a call. Same story. From Sgt Edward Striesand Badge no 139. Said phone number 514-568-9340. Told me where to go for Western Union. with cash - don't tell bank why you need it, otherwise the US can arrest grandson as soon as he steps back into US. But with that information, Red Flags went up, and thank you for having already posted this. Googled it when he put me on hold for some reason, and all is well with my grandson.

I got the call today. Same "sargeant". Someone sounding like my grandson came on to tell me the story of being arrested because he was in a car in Canada with a passenger he supposedly just met who was carrying $30,000 worth of cocaine he stashed under grandson's seat in the car when stopped for a minor traffic violation. Supposed "bail" (close to $6000) had to be posted ASAP. Money was sent. But how did they know I was the grandfather of a college-age kid?
My dad just called me to tell me the same story about a call he got with the same Sgt. Edward Streisand and the number was 514-224-5765. Said someone got on phone saying he was his grandson and needed bail money. He was arrested in Canada for being in a car with some people he just met and they had $25000 worth of cocaine in his possession. Although my son has been in jail before I didnt see how he got from Mississippi to Canada since Yesterday so I started researching this. Googled it all and found this. Thank God for the internet. What a scam against grandparents. Because I think if my Dad hadn't called me first he might have done it, cause he does love his grandson
