The solution is simple. The government needs to find out what telephone company provides service to this number and make that telephone company cut the service. They also need to put the subscriber on a "No Telephone" list, and cut the service to all other numbers they use.
ITS National Geographic . Have requested numerous times to be on on DO NOT CALL LIST/ NO success yet, then finally blocked the number w/ my phone provider. Going on 3 days no calls yet. NG came up on my caller ID 32 times in 7 days. GOODLUCK
Go to the National Geographic website and send an e-mail to customer service (or call their customer service line) to be removed from their call list and why. They were calling us 6-7 times a day, every day for months. I had to send 2 e-mails but finally it has stopped. Maybe if they get enough complaints they will stop this practice- it is more like harassment then regular telemarketing.
Unfortunately being on the 'Do not call" registry doesn't prevent them from calling if you have ordered anything from them in the past.
