Called this number again,, and found it is Wells Fargo, they have some problems with the automated greeting not recognizing the account. But is collections instead of the regular agents so sometimes come off as harsh on calls.
at first there was a long silence then a very professional recording asking me to have the last five digits of my account which I have no account with this company .then I hear a click .A man comes on and ask for my Social Security number. I told him no and asked him how he got my number and then he hangs up. I tried calling back and got a busy signal. SOunds like a scam artist to me
I got a call from this number, WELLS FARGO FINANCIAL re: my visa account. Weird has the same answer greeting as wells fargo but will not recognize the last 4 of my visa account. Then asks for the 16 digits of account. Did not enter that , next rude person asks for social number and account then hangs up on me.
If you get called by this number, do not call it back, just call the main 800 number on the card. this other number is very suspicious and am reporting it to Wellls Fargo
