Calling from India, basically want to help reduce mortgage rates. The number displayed is "not in service". In the end the rep started abusing in different Indian dialects.
Since the beginning of the call the story line keeps changing. First he represents a bank called "Miracle ...", but cannot provide the address or location of Office or Head Office, but on prodding about how an institution in India could be involved in reducing my mortgage rate -> he says there is an agreement between the Canadian and Indian Governments.
Next story line is that he is only collecting my details so that a legal representative would get in touch with me. Again he could not divulge the details of this legal rep's office or name, DUE TO PRIVACY REASONS. lol !!!
The story line again changed, that he was doing a survey and put on a threatening tone to say if wanted his help in reducing my rate or not, while constantly being prompted by a person in the background.
My objective was to frustrate him and kill as much time as possible. I hope I achieved it, because these telemarketing creeps from India do not ever let up and someone or the other will keep calling you with the same modus operandi.
I had to interrupt him a number of times, since kept talking in the third person -> "... we will help HIM reduce HIS interest rate ...". lol
Their justification in caling you is that they have your name in their database, therefore it is their right to call.
I wonder if the CRTC sold my name on its DNC list ??
received a call from this number saying "Calling from United States Government".."Do not call registry"..etc..!! When I asked, "Is it a scam?", immediately disconnected...!! beware of the call from this #
Caller said they were calling from NC and doing a survey about my opinion of foreign exchange students. Were very nice and when I said I didn't have an opinion, they thanked me for my time.
