I live in bay area California and this guy wanted me to ship my phone that I was selling on local craigslist and wouldn't stop bothering me. He said he is from sacermento CA which he was lying about and wanted me to give my paypal account to him so I can collect the money from him. Please don't respond to this person.
This person contacted me regarding a cell phone I have on Craigslist at 3:30 in the morning!!!
Very unusual pattern of speech(possibly using a translater?) I said" yes I still have the phone "at 10 am, he proceeds to text me Again at 3:15 am this time with " let me know the present working condition of this item before purchasing it ". I looked up the phone number area code and it states it's an Iowa area code prefix. I hope they catch these looses preying on good people!
This number just text me about a ipod that i have forsale on craigslist. He says his name is mark and he wants to buy it for his brother that is working overseas. He also asked if i have a paypal account. Im glad I looked up this number, I wont be replying back.
He called me about an Xbox from Craigslist and told me he was named mark wanted it shipped to Nigeria to his brother, i had a feeling it was a scam. Im glad I looked up this clowns number. He even claimed to be apart of the marine corp and that's why he couldn't send come pick it because the marines had him out of town.
