I get this call 2-3 times a day...i still have it on my answering machine and have had it there almost everyday. It asks me to "press the 1 key to be connected",...i do and it goes into a voicemail of some woman...i leave my name, number, never get a call back. i just want to be off their list!
I don't have caller ID but I assume this is the same person calling me. They've been calling once or twice a day for the past few weeks, even on Weekend mornings I get a call around 9. It is a recording saying "Hi, this is Timothy....." and they leave a number to call back. I can never get a real live person on the phone. I've left voicemails asking them not to call anymore but the next day they call back. Who are these people and why won't they stop calling?!?!?!
They are bugging the [***] out of me for a Home Depot account. I have called them and offered them a 50% settlement offer. This is $2000, which I had to scrimp and save to gather up. Instead they want my SS#, How much I make, Name, Address, etc. I am not giving them that information. I just want to settle with them and get them off my back. I have left numerous messages telling them to send me a letter stating that they and the original creditor accept this offer and will mark the account as PAID. Instead they call me sometimes 7 times within 10 minutes. I never answer. Tell me what I should do.
