The ONLY reason I answered the call is because I was expecting to be getting a call from someone that I did not know their number.
Automated caller. Had the voice down pretty good. Didn't catch it was a machine at first. Asked if my name was Michael, etc... Proceeded to say I won something... I immediately hung up.
Do you sign up for door prizes, or cars, etc. at local stores and malls? As soon as you drop that ticket in with your phone number you're relinquishing your right to cry about people contacting you. Same thing probably goes for online shopping.
Multiple unwanted calls; No voicemail/message left on my phone; When I return the call there is a long ringing sound, then a message stating"You have successfully completed a test call to Pac-West Telecom. P-W-T-1-2-1," then a hang up
Received a call from this number on my cell phone but didn't recognize so didn't answer. Is my area code so could have easily been tricked. Have blocked the number now.
Received a call from this number on my cell phone. Was in my car driving so I declined the call. No message left. Nothing came up on caller ID either. Got rid of our land line because of all the political/telemarketer/scam calls. Now starting with cell phones. Talk about needing a right to privacy!!! Advertisers, political parties, telemarketers, and charities should not have a "right" to call my phone!!!
