Has called a couple of times. Woman says 'Hello' once or twice, then hangs up. Seems to be a lot of noise in the background.
I have to laugh at all the posters who whine about their number being registered on the Do Not Call registry. Did you honestly think that adding your number to the list would make these phone calls magically stop? The DNC Registry only works when legitimate telemarketers choose to abide by. A large majority of these annoying calls come from offshore (other countries) These morons are crooks. They aren't going to abide by our laws...that's why they're called crooks. The Federal Government has neither the time or. Cresources to track down every note room operation in Nigeria, India, or wherever The neck these people are operating from. The only thing any of us can do is report them as best we can, block the numbers if your phone has the capability (or buy a call blocking app) and accept this as the price we pay for all these cool electronic toys we have & their supposed convenience.
I'm a retired telephone operator. DO NOT ANSWER these calls. And do not press the callers options to OPT you out. This opts you in on a 24X7 dialer and will keep calling. The only way to block them to contact your carrier. Remember, your carrier Sells your information. You have to opt out with your carrier in Writting. Read your terms & condtions to opt out. I personally log the call as Spam in my contacts. This alerts me NOT to answer.
