Some guy (with a lot of background noise) called asking to speak to the boss by name. I asked who was calling and he told me "William Brown." I asked what the call was in regard to and he said it was about a contract that he needed to send out to David (the boss) via Fed Ex. I guess I was supposed to be impressed by the words "contract" and "Fed Ex." When I told Mr. Brown that we had no contracts with anyone he then reverted to saying that it was a "private matter" between "William Brown" and "(boss's name.)" Again, I was apparently supposed to be impressed by the importance and privacy of the matter. Fat chance. When I informed Mr. William Brown that I was the boss' wife, he quickly excused himself off the phone. lol I have no respect for people who blatantly lie to try to plague the boss with unwanted - and questionable - offers. If they start with lies, as this guy did, why would anyone trust them enough to do business with them?? And if one of the other posters was correct that this is something about investing, why would we want to invest with a liar who obviously isn't very bright?
if you call this number they will help you - very nice and professional
