Same as everyone else, got a phone call yesterday from a middle eastern guy. Pet rescue something...fed lines of bull, really pushy, especially when I told him I was not interested. Just got another call from the same number this morning.
It's a scam, they play on you're emotions from a lost pet. Yes I miss my cat and would love nothing more than to have her in my arms again but I know [***] when I here it.
A heavily accented Indian man called me saying ge would find my missing cat in four days...hes in New York...im in Missouri....I told him I would call him back and blocked his number.
An Indian or Pakistani man called my cell and left a message saying he could help me find my lost cat. I called the number several times to find out it was blocked. I had to know who this was-called again today and another Indian or Pakistani man took my call. Very hard to understand him. Told me they could find my lost cat in 4 days. Their fee is $101.00 up front- and that if they could not find my cat, they would refund my my money. I could barely understand this con man- and ended the call because it is a scam. Putting this on Facebook and any other message board/post to warn people about these scumbags!!!
Company allegedly claims for a fee they can help find a missing dog (I don't have a missing dog) for a fee. It seems as if they are located in New York. I live in Hawaii...
Same thing as you guys. Lost my poor dog a week ago and got this call today. I hope they call me back so I can tell them off. It's all a scam. Horrible.
