I just received a call claiming that my computer was giving an error and I somebody is trying to hack my computer. Really what computer are you talking about because I do not have a computer in my house, don't you know they hung up.....lol
Down loaded windows 10 last night. Have had 3 calls today. 2 from an area code 515 which is from Montreal Canada and the other one this one. Did not answer. Always look here first to see if others have had problems.
Wife answered and whoever was on the line was speaking something that was neither English or Spanish, with similar unintelligible background babble. Must be a new call center somewhere.
The caller said in broken English "This is a call from the computer repair department". When I said I had been "waiting for the call" and "thanks for calling", he hung up. Call Type = phishing/fraud attempt. That category needs to be added to the Call Type list.
