I think these robot calls are getting so efficient that they have answers to your questions. I had the same call claiming to be collecting money for police organizations. He had a radio voice, very cheery and I asked "is this a recording?" He continued talking and I asked the question again and he paused and cheerfully ask me "Do I sound that bad?" so I hung up and googled the number and found myself here. I've blocked my number hoping that I can stop this crap but with no luck. Why the hell can't the government stop it? I called my carrier and they said to just hang up. Wow, that's VERY helpful, huh?
