Scam robocall. Do not answer or attempt to engage the person if they should gain access to your phone, just hang up. Best not to answer calls from numbers you don't recognize.
Today, another scam recorded message, saying "Seniors", a man's voice. 516-435-4672, caller ID "Riggins Betty". Yesterday, number called me from 516-435-3217 about Medical Alert. I hung up again. I have reported these calls to the "Do Not Call Registry" and Federal Trade Commission many times. The Medical Alert guy has called here many times with different New York area codes. First call months ago said they were waiting to install the medical alert and wanted to make an apointment. I said I didn't orde any and he said it was paid for. I asked who paid for it because I didn't and don't want it. He couldn't answer. After his call the calls have been recorded messages.
Other numbers were 212-539-3173, 212-660-5351, 601-398-9560 "Unknown Name", 518-621-3619. all medical alert calls. Others hang up when you don't answer.
Ah...they have called me for two years from a variety of spoofed numbers. I have never answered the phone when they have called, never let my voice mail pick up when they have called, and NEVER have I called any of the numbers back. Yet, they keep calling me. I guess they never give up!?! They are very determined con-artists - lol!
