I and many people .. just use cell phones.. and do not bother with the old phone line systems. As, to the best of my knowledge.. they do not offer call blocking.. phones.

One way to fight back when they do get through - stay on the line until you get an 800 number. Someone pays for that number, most likely the spammer. If you have a desk phone with a redial feature, just let it keep dialing until the cows come home. Every time the 800 number picks up= . . . caching.
The Only Way To Stop These Kinds Of Calls Is To Make Them Pay. Always Answer - They Have To Pay For Completed Call. Keep Them Talking As Long As Possible With Fake Info So They Have To Pay More.
