Received in middle of day, "caller ID" just said "Cell Phone NY", I said 'hello' and caller didn't say anything, it was just dead silence, but line was still open. After listening to the noise about 10 seconds I said hello again, still no response, so I hung up.
Calls started after a Microsoft warning showed up on my computer. Caller states it is a warning from Microsoft. Call come in frequently, using a few different cell phone numbers. Calls come in at all hours of the day. Very Annoying!!!
They called again, said they're from Microsoft and "there's a prob-lem with my com-pu-ter"...haha I said "Oh...REALLY???!!!! OH....NOOOOOO!!!! Could there be a ... VIRUS...on....it...???!!!!" really sarcastically. Caller hung up. It's a scam.
Called my cell phone 9 times in past 4 days. No one answers when I answer, they just disconnect. When I let it go to VM, they leave blank air just long enough for me to have to check my messages. When I called the number back - Verizon said this is a "non-working number"
They call to ask about your Microsoft computer and issues you may have. I informed them I don't have one. They hung up. I also received a similar call yesterday from 585-635-4085.
