Someone with an East Indian accent wanting to sell me "leads" in regards to real estate buyers and sellers. I explained to him that MY business model does NOT and WILL NOT EVER be based on buying leads, paying for subscriptions for leads or anything like that involving fees vs. a referral fee for a CLOSED transaction.
I offered to do a referral fee with his company and explained it in detail - but I believe that the concept was quite foreign to him and beyond his script given by his employer.
So I thanked him and said that if they changed their way of doing business we could talk in the future, but that I would NEVER under any circumstance buy leads in the way that they offered them currently.
"Bruce Williams" was the gentlemans name that was calling.
