My aunt received a call from this same number yesterday and she was shook, crying and upset because she thought it was real, the man had the nerve to ask her if she had a neighbor she could borrow 500 dollars from. WHen she told me this I knew this was a scam I just called the number the same voice from another country picked up saying hello this is the IRS. WE have to contact the authorities and get this investigation under way this is totally illegal!
Called me left VM (thick accent) stating that they were the IRS. Asked for my case# and when I called him out he hung up. Totally SCAM. Don't provide any personal information. When in doubt call the department that they are stating they are calling from or call the police themselves.
