This number calls several times per day and will not leave a message. I answered - no response on the other end. Clearly an auto dial waiting to connect to a person. These are always political or charity messages as they are exempt from the do not call list. Awful - they call at 9:30 at night.
They left us alone for a couple days, but now it's SUNDAY and already 3 calls (twice in one hr!). DO NOT CALL lists are a joke obviously to these scammers.
Got a call from 517-318-0397 at about 7:10pm, said he was FBI Agent John Smith from the Iowa office looking for my son and wanted me to answer questions about him under penalty of law. I knew that the 517 area code is in Livingston County Michigan and not in Iowa but I did answer the basic questions and then refused to go any further. Told him he sounded more like a bill collector than an FBI agent and he then said he would be at my house at 8am tomorrow.
