On Oct 23, 2014, we received 2 calls from this number. We let them go to voice mail, but no message was left. Today I answered a call from rhis nember, and a man asked, "Is this [my first name]?" I replied yes. He identified himself as Patrick from Michigan. He said he was calling to remind me to vote in this midterm election (which I plan to do). He also said that they monitor voting, and that I did not vote in the 2010 midterm election (normally I do vote, but it is quite possible I missed that election). He then said they would check after this election (frankly this feels like an intimidation tactic, and I resent it). He then said the call was paid for by the LCV Freedom Fund. When I did an Internet search, I received results for the League of Conservation Voters Super Pac. A link to the website is https://www.opensecrets.org/pacs/lookup2.php?strID=C00486845. The website looks like it provides info regarding contributions, so I will be checking into this further. I may be contacting my representatives and/or filing a formal complaint. I do not appreciate repeated phone calls, and I especially dislike that someone I don't know told me they would be checking up on whether I vote this year!
517 318 0397 seems to call about everyday. I have never called it back and am trying to block it from my cell phone. It is a land-line according to reverse lookup.
I've been getting calls from this number every other day for the past week and no voicemail messages are being left. I finally answered today and there was a pause followed by someone having a conversation with someone else. When I said 'hello?' they hung up. This is a rather weird operation. Wish I could figure out how to block this number on my phone.
