This is simply another great example of why you get your new next best friend at the shelter. You get to meet them and take them home the same day with no "shipping charges" involved. Just think how wonderful you will feel knowing that you helped a poor animal in need, and even better is that they will repay that a thousand times over.
Shady Craigslist puppy dealer, they only want to talk about cash. They have been known to sell sick dogs (PARVOVIRUS), please be careful when dealing with them. Don't settle in meeting them at a gas station. Ask to see the unlicensed "kennels" in person.
This person is selling 6 week old puppies on Craigslist and wants to meet in a parking lot, which is sketchy because that doesn't leave the buyer with any information about this seller. They could easily take your down payment and then never show up in two weeks with the dog and you wouldn't know where to find them or how to contact them. They got defensive when I mentioned that 6 weeks was young for a puppy to be taken from their mother and were making it to sound like my fault for not knowing that prior to contacting them that the puppies were that young. I'm lucky I looked up their phone number and found this page otherwise I would have driven an hour and a half down to Marana and lost 300 dollars. What's even worse is I feel bad for the dogs.
