Caller identifies himself as calling from Outreach Calling representing the Fire and Police departments and asking if they can count on me to return a donation envelope with a donation to help. I worked for a similar company in my 20's for about 4 hours. The amount actually passed through to the organization is a very small percentage of your donation with the rest being kept by the calling company to pay for expenses like phones, managerial, employees, office, ect. If you wish to donate to charities, pay them direct and avoid taking these calls.
