Took this call after receiving a ton of spoofed phone numbers for the last 3 months. Got the info that this person said he was from 'IT Solutions', outsourced by Microsoft, and he wanted access to my computer because 'my antivirus was not automatically updating'. THIS IS A SCAM.
Said I had a virus on my computer and it was imperative that I get it fixed and I did then I cancelled my credit card and told the credit card company to cancel the payment
Same as previous callers. Claimed a red flag on my antivirus software and needed to be updated. Told them I was no longer interested and to remove me from list. He said the only way to be removed is to update with him or die. I'm not lying.
