Yeh, this supposedly has been U-verse, pestering me to upgrade my land line (biz #, need to keep it) to them from AT&T, after upgrading the internet with them. Calling every single day with a recording, sometimes even more than once/day. I called them back a couple times at the # the recording left, telling them that I don't want to upgrade, leave me alone. Yes yes, we'll remove you from the list. Next day same thing. So I called AT&T, told them to get U-Verse to stop pestering me about it, got the runaround from them. Finally, got sick of it, called my cellphone provider. Got the # ported to a 2nd line on my cellphone account with an old flip phone. $20/month! Obviously, nationwide calling, yadda yadda...with the landline even calling Chicago from the burbs was considered long-distance lol. So yeh, I called AT&T again, told them to kiss my a$$, bye bye!
Sorry for the long winded comment. Long story short, a big big thank you to U-Verse/AT&T! Now one less due date to keep up with, and a pretty sizable monthly savings. Wouldn't have done the move without you annoying calls for sure.
This number calls my business several times a day. Sometimes there is an automated message that says it is AT&T business solutions and other times the message says it is the AT&T Renewal and Migration department. This last message told me to call 888-656-8872 to schedule a tech to come out and replace my DSL with high speed internet, this it is a requirement by AT&T. This is all a scam. I don't even have AT&T internet. I do have an AT&T business phone that I have had for 25 years. But, that's it. Yesterday, I finally got upset and called the Tuscan, Arizona number (502-303-9848) back and told them to stop calling. They are still calling today!!! They told me that if I have AT&T phones that they will stop working if I don't let them switch them to digital. This obviously has nothing to do with the DSL message I received today from the same number. I hung up on them. How do we stop this harassment?????
520-303-9848 has been calling me for two months. This last call, I asked to speak to a manager polity. Manager went through the same sales pitch. This is for uverse and they need to upgrade us because we are analog. I've told them that we don't do business on the phone. They need to send me a letter through the mail. They offer email or a fax. After a few minutes the so called manager hangs up on me. They suggest they are att when they want to but cant seem to give me a physical address for their company. I cant wait until they call tomorrow I'm getting better at this. I think I'll start recording the conversations.
This is a scam.
