I'd think yes to that! Since our governments do co-operate with each other.  I can't really see any reason why they would not take reports at any rate.

More robo-call hell- from 520-338-8024,
“Gun control” psychos now threaten Americans over the phone!

A “survey” is just a marketing swindle selling a phony idea, product, get away, political agenda.

March 8, Saturday, 6:00 PM- Pretending to be a “public survey”, a female caller is told she is being recorded to be exposed on youtube. Still, this unethical “survey taker” threatens to repeat the illegal harassment and call back soon! Now, this is all on tape along with a growing number of other similar “survey” type calls.

Lets take a look at a few recent ones, shall we?

March 4 Tuesday 4:20 pm-  public harassment “gun control survey” Recorded
March 5 Wednesday 6:05 pm-  public harassment “gun control survey” Recorded
March 6 Thursday 4:30 pm-  public harassment “gun control survey” Recorded
March 8 Saturday 12:20 pm-  public harassment “gun control survey” Recorded
March 8 Saturday 3:15 pm-  public harassment “gun control survey” Recorded
March 8 Saturday 6: pm-   public harassment , and threat about “gun control” Recorded
We believe this illegal calling is originating from a couple of useless nothings;
We the People want a Court Case to stop it ALL, and to see all those responsible for these terrorist type calls in front of a Judge.

Irritated
Very weak post, so you must be an FTC bureaucrat yourself. What you neglect to mention is that the DNC Registry has been in existence for 11 years, and this is all that we have to show for it? How many prosecutions per year does this come out to, maybe 6 or 8 in response to billions upon billions of illegal telemarketing calls made annually? With the billions of tax dollars that the FTC has expended since 2003, this is a pathetically short list. Nice try.

I even submitted a written complaint to the FTC in response to a caller to whom I had sent a certified cease and desist letter. I even enclosed a copy of the cease and desist letter. The letter I received from the FTC suggested I send a cease and desist letter to the caller. This is what I pay taxes for?

You may be willfully ignorant yourself, but you instead appear to enjoy omitting crucial facts in order to make an unsupportable point. I hope you enjoy your government paycheck, my friend.

You seem to lack any logical reasoning powers whatsoever, so you must be a frog.

I don't work for the FTC, the post with the list came from someone else, and neither he (I presume) nor I were paid to look up every case that might have been filed.  That costs money.  If you want to see all the cases, log on to pacer.gov for access to the federal courts -- and have your credit card ready.  It's not cheap.  And you won't necessarily find "prosecutions," either.  (That's the province of the Justice Department.)  The FTC files civil complaints to get people's money back ASAP because the standard of proof is lower.  Nor will you necessarily find all the "consent decrees" and settlements they extract from scammers.

Tell me the crucial facts I am omitting.  I dare you.  And remember that the FTC has a whole list of responsibilities, not just serving your jollies by going after people calling you because you are on the "do not call" list.  See, just for example,

And I will soon be enjoying my first government checks, my friend, other than tax refunds.  It's called "retirement."

The DNC is not perfect.   It will not stop determined criminals or scofflaws.   It is a useful tool for law abiding telemarketers.   Organizations and individuals are prosecuted under the law.   But the authorities  cannot prosecute every offense.  There isn't enough resources.

Just  because something is imperfect, does not mean it's worthless.  Which is what you are saying.

According to your analysis,  laws against any criminal behavior must be worthless because x amount of criminals  escape prosecution.

Which is a ridiculous argument.
