Just got a call from them today, sating they were "conducting a confidential financial investigation". They wanted information from my dept. on a previous customer.
I personally called them back and let them know that without a court order or written permission from the company they were inquiring about, I couldn't share any information.
The person continued to ask questions and then wanted to know who we use for collections.
I politely told them "not you"
Caller said he was Tim Rodriguez (how generic) from Bar Credit Management, but the caller ID said Randall & Richards Inc. Kept asking to speak to the person in charge of our credit accounts, and I kept saying without knowing why he was calling I could not forward the call properly. He then said the name of a person who does work here, and indicated he would email them instead, I said good luck and hung up. From what I've read on BBB and here, as well as Ripoff Report, this company is nothing but a bunch of bottom feeding scammers.
These people have call three time 1 wanting to investigate our assets, 2, Saying we have a bill over a thousand dollars from people we have not done business in well over a year. At the time we stopped using them we were clear and have not received any billing from that company. 3. they are threatening to sue if we don't give them money.
