Telemarkerter, telling me I was put into a drawing to win 1 or 2 million dollars. Then began to tell me about a 4 day cruise for onl $59.00, I listened and told her I was not intereted in the cruise. Of course I am waiting on them to call and tell me that, "Hey you won the 2 million dollar drawing", right and they are probably sending it to me in th email. What a bunch of B.S. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think they think we all just, "fell off of a turnip truck" to believe this crap.
These calls started yesterday. I got 3 of them. All my Caller I.D. said was "Tuscon, AZ". I don't know anyone in Tuscson. They call, they don't leave a message on my voicemail.
I have never answered. You would think if you call a number several times and no one answers that either they don't want to talk to you OR they aren't there - STOP calling. No, they keep calling. 3 times yesterday, once today - so far. I expect at least another 2 by the end of today.
Ignoring doesn't help. Either you have to answer and just tell them right then to take you off the list OR you have to ban the number from your phone OR you have to complain about them to Do Not Call (not that it works every time).
I am going to complain about them to the Do Not Call Registry and hope that it helps. I am also going to tell the phone company to put them on the block list. So irritating.
BTW, if it really was Publisher's Clearinghouse, you wouldn't get a phone call, you would get a package by Federal Express or something like that and it would have you have papers notarized. They don't call you.
