This number called my telephone on 3/16/15 at 2:26PM.  I am on the Do Not Call list and have no business relationship with the listed subscriber.  The subscriber showed the phone listed to "Booking Genie."  An inquiry using Google showed this to be a vacation planner.  The customer service number on the Internet site listed what appeared to be a foreign telephone number.

I received a call from a person claiming to represent a company called My Booking Genie or BMIP Inc. He said that I purchased a vacation last year and did not take it and the resort has incurred charges in the amount of $998.00 which they will attempt to collect from my VISA unless I spend additional money with them.
The rep was Miles Phillips corp id # 1985. He refused to tell me what resort claimed that I owed them money. He put his supervisor on the phone who also would not answer that question and who didn't like my tone when I objected to them threatening me and hung up.

Same scam, different number. Used to be a 407 area code. Called, claiming I have a delinquint account, as I placed a deposit down for a vacation in Orlando. I said, that's impossible, I have family in Orlando, I would never buy a vacation there. The caller then said, "well, it could have been in two other locations, too." Couldn't tell me the location. Asked if I had an American Express card (which I no long have), gave me my maiden name and an old address from 11 years ago. The first time they said that I placed a deposit in 2007, this time they told me it was 2011. I laughed and told them to get their scam information straight. They threatened that perjury is against the law and can be held against me.

The rascals at this number call me.  A woman identifies herself as Louise, Processing Manager at BMIP and gives me a number of 844-236-1755  and says her corporate ID is 1219 .   She asserts that I purchased something involving travel or vacations in 2012!   I had no interest or need for travel in 2012 so that is a patently false claim on its face.   Next she claims I put $198 on a Mastercard!  The packages have expired and I have an account, according to this woman to rectify.  She asserts I have a $798 balance .  She claimed I had two options:  (1)  To eliminate account by showing activity.  She asked for a credit card number.  Of course I did not and would not provide one.  She also claimed to be from mybookinggenie.com  .   She would occassionally ask  "OK?" or "Do you understand?"   I would reply, "I hear you?"   Then she would ask  "What are you you going to do to rectify this account?"   I replied  "I have no account so NOTHING!"   She claims Option B is to refer the account to Financial Services and that $1498 would then be due.      She asserts my name, along with an address I've left along time ago.  She wanted me to update the address.  I informed her that this is an unsolicited phone call and I will not provide information to her.    She asserts "We are going to get our money?"   I assert that I do not have an account and that I am on the do not call list and this is a violation .  She asserts, NO, you've got an account with us and the do not call list does not apply, we are going to keep calling you.    I informed her there is no account,  refer to your financial services and let them attempt to collect.    If they do, they will pick up violations of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and the Telephone Consumer Protection Act.       I should have told her this sounds like a scam and a load of horse{you know what!} .  I will see if they attempt to repeat this tortuous and annoying behavior.    They identify as Mybookinggenie.com  and try to send you to their website but I believe these are confidence people attempting to intimidate people into sharing their credit card information so they may commit theft by deception.     I would like to be left alone but if they continue to call and disrespect me with these assertions that are "material representations" and they are done purposely "with intent".   In every jurisdiction that defines fraud and I would like to see a large civil complaint served on them, or action by an administrative entity such as the FTC, FCC Consumer Financial Protection Bureau or a state agency or state attorney general.   A criminal arrest by the local police department may be appropriate also.
