This number just called our business today at 1353 hours. Caller ID showed "Auburn, CA" which immediately made me suspect a scammer or spammer so I picked up the phone but said nothing. This usually - usually, but not always - prevents idiot-messages from becoming triggered. If it's a live person at the other end someone will usually give a tentative "Hello" when they don't hear anyone speaking. In this case, the call simply automatically disconnected, without me having to hear any inane, illegal recording. To the one complaining about the DNC list you should know that the DNC does not cover businesses. It's only valid for residential numbers. Plus, the only ones who comply with the DNC list are legitimate businesses. If a "business" does call a DNC listed residential landline then there's a very good chance it's a scam artist. You can't blame the FCC for that. They don't have a magic wand that can make the criminals disappear.
Google Listing Scam! BEWARE! After trying numerous times to be removed from their calling list by pressing 7 today I spoke with someone and when I told them to remove us from their calling list they hung up on me. GO AWAY SCAMMERS!
Did not answer this call. I read these posts after ignoring calls I don't recognize. RE: DNC a LOT of callers show a US number listing (as in this one showing up as Auburn, CA) and are actually originating out of the USA so they don't "have" to follow US DNC rules. I traced one last year to Canada. Just sharing that.
