I answered, put the phone on mute, and listened. The person on the other end said "Hi, this is Brooke calling on a recorded line. Can you hear me ok?" Knowing that there is a scam out there where if you say yes, the person can use the recording to commit fraud, I said nothing. After about 15 seconds, the person repeated themselves. Once again, I said nothing. After a few seconds, she didn't hang up, so I hung up. When you get these kinds of calls where they ask "Can you hear me ok?" don't say ANYTHING, especially yes! This is a scam!
