Man with a heavy east Indian accent, claiming to call from Visa/Master card services. Something is wrong with my "recent credit card" the word he used was not understandable. Asked questions about my interest rates. Then I hung up. When I called the number back, there was a recording: Thank you for calling, if you wish to go on the do not call list, press 1, sorry to bother you.
Called from 409 and blocked after he said to my husband "I want to F*** and my name." Oh, my gosh! Something needs to be done about this guy. Now he calls on the 530 number and will be blocked again. Crooks, rude, and should be seriously disciplined. Calls house 5 times a day and early morning hours as well.
foreigner keeps asking for my last wife from 9 years ago .The phone is in her name so whenever I go to even say anything ,he just hangs up.I read awhile back that they just want you to answer the phone because when you do they are charging your phone carrier money.Even a few pennies from thousands of people a day would add up to be profitable ,so I quit answering we still get 1-3 phone calls a day but oh well .
This guy is just plain annoying. And rude. And can't get information straight, as if he were working from a heavily outdated call list and from a script book that should have been revised or tossed out sometime back in the 1990s. Scammy, mouthy, and desperate.
I received a phone call from this number today in regards to lowering my interest rate. They said the are working with CIBC TD and I believe Scotia Bank or Royal Bank. They seem to know about my current interest rates and my account balances as well as when I made my last payment and the amount. So I thought it seemed legit. Go through a few conversations with different people. They said a 1 time fee would be billed to my credit card to receive the lower interest rates($1495). I get a phone call back about an hour later and the payment was declined. So they want me to get a hold of my financial and authorize the payment. This caused a red flag now. So I contact both of my creditors and let them know and told them everything they said. Both cards have now been cancelled! They called from the 530 area code number plus also have a verification number which is a 844 and 866. BE AWARE do not give your information out
Exactly got 3 calls a day from the 409 number all with different reason for things I have never had. One was for the class action law suit for Mesh implants that I never had. One was for continuing my education. Really? i am in my 50's. One for to collect $2600.00 for my disability which I don't have. Kept getting the calls even after calling and pressing one to be removed. Now its 8:25 am I have already gotten 2 calls from this 530 number. When I ask them what list I am n they hang up
