called left message they had a file on the person they were looking for and the person should contact them or have their attorney contact them. they never identified who they they were. the exchange is for california we are in eastern pa. i am assuming it is a shady collection agency.
I received a voicemail regarding a 1099C which according to The IRS it had something to do with debt. Anyway I spoke to a representative who was polite when answering the phone. She told me I owe from a loan from 2006. I asked her to mail me the information and age insisted on emailing it. I asked her again to mail it and asked for her mailing address. She got really angry and said she was reporting me to the court and hung up. I wouldn't give these people any info or have a lawyer contact them. They can't expect me to give them my banking info and I can't even get a mailing address.
Got a message for an unfamiliar name (Loretta) that was half automated, half-human to have her or her council call them back about issues with a 1099 C form. Ignoring it.
