This is ridiculous. I have had several calls a day approx. 20 from an Indian gentleman who has used three different names. He has called me at work several times and I have asked to not be contacted at work. He says he has a law suit against me and wont release any info. I have no idea what he is talking about then I asked for a hard copy of the information he has to try to figure out if someone has stolen my identity. I received some ghetto looking invoice from some firm which I can not find anything on and which he has now told me three different names. I called them finally and demanded to be put on the do not call list and that I was already on the national one. He hung up on me five times then started sending my phone calls to a voice mail. This company is a joke Joe John or Steven whoever you are because those names sound so indian needs to get a life.He is not getting any of my information now or ever. This is a scam and ridiculous because the guy can't even get his lies straight.
someone from India saying his name is Steven Jones is calling me from this phone number stating that they are a law firm and that I have a fraud case against me. This is a scam. They also are calling me from this number: 559-426-5618. They call themselves American Legal Services. Don't give them any of your information.
I just got the same call from Steven Jones just now! They called yesterday and I told them my lawyer would be in contact. Today he said that my lawyer hadn't called. :-) I finally hung up. He has tried to call back, but I refuse to answer. This is annoying. Wish these people would get a life or at least arrested for this harrassment.
Receive 3 calls at work and 3 calls at home a day from some Indian guy who can barely speak english threatening to sue me for some payday loan that I know nothing about. His name according to him is Greg White. I did not verify any information and hung up on him. I also informed my human resources of this scam just incase they call my work directly instead of my office number. Reporting it to the FTC and the FBI. They still call and I wish they would realize that they are barking up the wrong tree when no one answers their calls.
My Indian was Adam Thompson. He said he had a fraud case against me and I told him to contact my attorney. I also told him that I was taping the call and he didn't want to give me to much info after that. He asked me if my attorney was criminal or bankruptcy and I told him my attorney went after "Dirt-Bags" like him. He hung up on me. :)
