This is ridiculous. I have had several calls a day approx. 20 from an Indian gentleman who has used three different names. He has called me at work several times and I have asked to not be contacted at work. He says he has a law suit against me and wont release any info. I have no idea what he is talking about then I asked for a hard copy of the information he has to try to figure out if someone has stolen my identity. I received some ghetto looking invoice from some firm which I can not find anything on and which he has now told me three different names. I called them finally and demanded to be put on the do not call list and that I was already on the national one. He hung up on me five times then started sending my phone calls to a voice mail. This company is a joke Joe John or Steven whoever you are because those names sound so indian needs to get a life.He is not getting any of my information now or ever. This is a scam and ridiculous because the guy can't even get his lies straight.
I have been getting these calls now too and now they know my mom's name stating that I have used her information for something and that there is a fraud case against me. Now after reading these posts I feel that I have nothing to worry about since is fraud. They call my work and cell phone number all the time leaving messages from Steven Jones law firm, they put me on hold but I dont wait and hung up the call. What do these people want?
Ronnie Cooper, "my indian" told him I couldnt understand a freaking word he said and he started to yell at me trying to say "this is serious business" LOL I told him to put a manager on the phone, the a guy named Mike got on told me it was a criminal case filed against my social security number.. I told him , In this country we dont file cases based on SS#'s and he hung up. I called back , another Indian sounding guy answered from a very noisy sounding call center and said Hello, I asked if it was American Law or whatever and he paused then said no?? I did this 3 times, same thing.. Then the fourth time they answered "American Law" WHATEVER THIS IS ITS A SCAM and kinda scary since they do have some personal information!
