This number is a way of hiding a fraudulent company claiming to be from the California State's Attorney (or local law firm if you ask him twice). They had just enough of my husband's information to sound like they could be dangerous but the fact of the matter is anyone demanding that you fax them your bank card information within the next 30 minutes or else they will press charges against you is a fraud. Not to mention they coudl not clearly articulate who they represented at first they claimed we owed a bank then he changed to the story to say we had a loan that we didn't pay. Fortunately we pay our bills and know these folks are fraudulent. What ever they ask for don't tell them ANYTHING. PROTECT YOURSELF!!!!!
