Very nasty man with heavy Indian accent (you can hear a call center in the background) calling for someone named Ben in our HR Dept. I told him we don't have an HR Dept in this office & no Ben. He sounded pissed - oh well too bad !
Heavily accented overseas caller in an obvious call center environment asks to speak with the VP of Human resources for a multinational company (as if!). I tell her the call will not be accepted. Several times. But she is soooooooooooo sure she needs to speak with her about some email she sent about HR publications. I eventually told her that it isn't going to happen, accept it, and move on. Have a nice day. GOODBYE!
Very very pushy. Sounds a lot like Progressive Business Publications. Watch OUT!
Same thing happened yesterday. Super rude and heavy accent. He called three times and refused for me to take a message. Finally, he was told that the person he was looking for no longer worked here, then he just hung up.
Very RUDE man with heavy Indian accent you can hear a call center in the background. He was calling for my IT Manager. I stated we would like to decline the call and to please remove the number from the call list. He raised his voice and became aggressive ands stated he wouldn't do any of it unless he spoke to the IT Manager.
Between the background noise and heavy accent, I could barely understand this man; caught "payroll" and "IT" but not the reason for his call. Finally recognized a name (he reversed the first and last), to which he referred as "Mr." when it should be "Ms." He hung up after being on hold for a minute, then a blocked Caller ID appeared. It's typical of these people to phone back immediately but mask their number, hoping to catch their target off guard, so they can berate whoever answers for not following their commands.
