Thank you for everyone who takes the time to let me and others informed about SCAM artists.

Just received email from [email protected] for $30,000+ in equipment  today. He's still active, still using same phone number (530-710-1125), same email address & name (J. Michael Allred).

We have just recieved our second order from this scam.... first order was 55K which we processed, we have been a vendor for the UC system for some time so my customer service people didnt find it unusual.

Items shipped to Texas but last minute asked for a switch to Ohio.

Second order we did not process, but expensive lesson learned.

We received an email from      Alex Martin <[email protected]> requesting a quotation for  a large number of medical devices.  We googled his name and email address,  and google did not pick up that the domain was slightly different. It listed the real url for the university, where the actual Alex Martin works.  When we called the university (not the phone number on the fraudulent email), we were told it was a scam, and the university has been receiving invoices from many medical suppliers, for equipment that they did not actually order.  Unfortunately, people are falling for this scam.
