However, instructions from scammer: once cashier's check obtained, call IRS supervisor's direct line 530-710-2511
just got the same message right now, I called the number 530-7102511 but no answer. as far as I know IRS does not communicate this way. I know cause I got audited once before..
Got a message from "Agent Kevin Beasley" from IRS. IRS Tax Scam. Left this number as number to call back, but number was actually 206-708-2849, in Seattle.

He had an accent, possibly Indian.
