Who called from 5307239740

Julie Smith robo call, claiming to be an IRS officer. Advised that I or my retained attorney call this hotline number. Terrible people! Phishing on a holiday!!

Said to call back, else they would take action against us. She said she is from the IRS.

There is a widespread IRS or "tax scam" being  practiced by scammers on both Canadian and USA residents.

Short answer:
The IRS never initiates a contact via phone.
They always send a snailmail first.

julie smith, fake name fake number. Very threatening to me. Claims to be IRS. Says they will arrest me at noon IF i don't pay $3,000.
