This IS a credit card scam, just received a call about not having a problem with my account but would like to talk about reducing my rate. Problem is I don't have any credit cards (cash is the way to go) if I can't afford it, I don't need it !
I, too, just received a call regarding this credit card scam. Don't give them any information -- and I really like the idea of giving the UPC code from a magazine.
I didn't recognize the numer. Robocall rang six times, then Jennifer or Rachel or whoever's recorded voice came on, "No problem with your credit card, reduce interest rates. Push one for more info. I pushed one, it went to fast busy. Oh, well.
