530-776-5914 These people call our place of business non stop looking for an employee. They are very hard to understand and rattle to send $5000 to $6000 to keep her out of jail. They are rude and harrassing and refuse to give their address other than LA, California.
These guys are wearing me down..they've been calling me several times weekly with similar messages and they quote my ss#,my bank acct # and routing #.They've threatened my roomate,my 82 yr old mother and I've reported them to everyone but they still won't quit.I even calmly asked this guy one day what he hoped to achieve with all of these calls especially when the local police, the FBI and secret service have been notified and they have the gall to say they were more powerful and they would get their money one way or the other.Generally I'm being told I'll be arrested the next day(this is since January) or if I don't call them back then all they can say is"Good luck".None of my reports have slowed them down. Our attorney general says they are out of the country and spoofing on other cell phones..not much they can do.

These people contacted me as well. They stated that I was going to go to jail and a lawsuit had been taken out against me. However, when you ask them why, they do not know. The did get my sister-in-laws and my friend's phone number and stated they were suing me for finacial fraud. I got them to stop calling. How? I asked to speak to someone in their Legal department and questioned them on protocols since they violated several laws by just making 2 phone calls. You must report these people. Even if you owe a debt, NO collection agency has the right to impersonate anyone from the court system or law enforcement. They cannot threaten you. Unless you tell them they are in violation of The Federal Fair Debt Collections Practices Act (FDCPA), they will not take you seriously. If they keep on or even do it one time, please, I urge you to contact an attorney from the National Association of Consumer Advocates. You may get a settlement of up to $1000.00, but the company itself will be found guilty of breaking federal laws and they will dealt with. Until we take a stand against collection agencies that harrass, it will only get worse. Please look up the FDCPA and take control of situations. Also, I seen where some of you complained about them calling you at work, once you tell them that it is inconvienent from them to contact you there, any further contact is considered harrassment and is violation of the FDCPA.
