A company that shows in Caller ID as AUBURN, CA trying to sell Security Systems. They have called my phone several times. Our number is on the state Do Not Call List, and the Federal DNC list. Seems like, if TELEMARKERS say we
are not trying to sell you something, MAYBE they are off the hook (legally)? I'm not a lawyer, but I would challenge any lawyer out there to help people stop the calls. General emails/links to ftc.gov sites. No-one in state or federal levels ever in-force or review any of the DNC lists? WHY
These companies only have outgoing phone numbers, so calling back never seems to be an option. MOST OF THE TIME *** SCAMS***
number states its from Auburn, Ca. No message left. I called back, got a machine, does not state the name of the company, just a "promotion" message. I pressed 1 to be put on their do not call list. Even tho I am on the DO NOT CALL LIST.
I get calls every morning through the day, and when I called back it say press 1 if u wish to be removed, I did but the calls keeps on coming and a lady called from 5306153723 I yelled and called her all kind of names she hang up n me,,,
