I received the EXACT same message word for word today! I too sell Avon and they worked for some modeling agency and would be in my city late October. I knew it was a scam when they didn't use my name in the email, didn't know my city and the way some of the sentences were worded! I tried calling the phone number that was listed but it was disconnected and there was NO business listed for the address that was left. WOW what nerve. BE AWARE WOMEN YOU OWN AND OPERATE YOUR OWN AVON BUSINESS!
I too received the same email. The first time they requested Avon so I directed them to use the Avon website to place their order. Instead, I receive an email giving me the same order that is already posted. This is not new to me nor is it the last it will happen. People like this do not deserve my time. They need to take time to find a good honest job. If they want Avon why not try earning it instead of scamming people of hard earned money they worked for. Sorry to read someone was taken over by these ruthless people, I hope you were able to sell the products or just return it for credit.
To logician, I got that exact same message u did. I just got a check today for his items and its well over his price I never ordered anything if his bc I didn't have his money. This website really helped me out now Ik what to do with the check and his order. thanks ladies :)
I was an Avon representative last year and unfortuneatly as a new worker, I fell for the trap. I am 27 years old, make an honest living, and now have hell to pay because of it. I supplied my mailing address and then actually deposited the check sent to me into my account. Because of this, I am now on Fraud alert for depositing a fake check. Everybody makes mistakes, and I made a huge one. At the time I was not educated on scammers and how to look out for them. I literally cannot open an account at any bank anywhere because of this. I really would like some advice or help for justice to be served. I want to clear my name and report this person to the authorities.
