I have received, on the same day, multiple calls from multiple phone numbers - with exactly the same message threatening me with litigation. All calls with same "case" number, all delivered by the same halting female voice. Pretty stupid even for a scam operation. Just ignore, provide NO response and block each number when there are multiple numbers.

Caller said I needed to have my "retained attorney of records" call 989-717-8096 immediately because the issue at hand is extremely time sensitive. Continues with "Do not disregard this message" and if "she" doesn't hear from me then "the only thing I can do is wish you a good luck as the situation totally unfolds on you. Good bye". What a scam. Blocked number plus the number they said to call. Still got 5 voice messages from the other number saying I need to call. No way am I calling either of these numbers. I put my number on the Do Not Call list and now I'm getting more of these calls than ever before.
Crooks/thieves from all over the U.S. started calling and preying on my Mother after my Father's Obituary was posted in local and city newspapers. Family members need to weigh and consider the consequences of posting an Obituary in newspapers.
